Safari tent with private sanitary facilities - 4 persons

We had a wonderful time at Mike and Joanna’s campground during the first two weeks of June. It’s an incredibly beautiful spot with a view of the valley from our RV and a nice pool. There’s a nice little restaurant, great surroundings, fun activities, and cheerful, helpful staff. Mike and Joanna have really created something special. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful campground with our folding trailer on a spacious, shaded site. We had such a wonderful time! The campground is nicely laid out with spacious sites and clean, well-maintained restrooms.
There’s plenty to do in the area, and for kids, there are fun activities a few times a week, such as painting rocks or making bracelets.
There’s plenty to explore for kids with a little imagination. The kids organized their own picnics, built huts, came up with scavenger hunts, made up musicals, and drew treasure maps. They didn’t need much to keep themselves entertained 😉.
The surrounding area is perfect for beautiful (racing) bike rides, hiking, swimming, and visiting villages.
The cooking workshop at the campground comes highly recommended. I just made my own tagliatelle at home. It’s right next to the campground restaurant, which is run by an enthusiastic team (and family). We had a wonderful time, saw beautiful sunsets, made lots of friends, enjoyed the nice pool, and had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. Thanks, Joanna and Mike, for the great time!

We stayed at Camping Lucherino (Tuscany) for two weeks. The safari tent we had was perfect for four people (two adults, two children). There was plenty of shade, which was really nice given the temperatures there. Actually, everything was perfect. The restaurant (definitely take the cooking workshop!!), which is right on the campground, the pool, the poolside bar, and the breakfast service, including fresh coffee. Above all, the people who work there make all the difference. Joanne and Mike make you feel right at home. They’re always available, welcoming, know the area well, and are super friendly and helpful! The kids had a great time, too. The pool, the variety of activities with entertainment, and playing at the campground rounded out the experience. Plenty of friends!
There are lovely little rivers and hiking trails in the area. Plenty to do. We’ll definitely be back—for the campground, the people, the peace and quiet, the surroundings, the weather, and the delicious food and drinks.

What a great campground. I recommend this campground to anyone who wants to explore this area. It’s a quiet campground where you can enjoy a beautiful view and sunset. The campground has a pool, which is a plus for the kids. There’s a bar by the pool where you can get drinks and ice cream. We were there with our 6- and 7-year-old children, and as they said: it was a perfect campground. Because the campground is small, you can let them roam around the grounds with peace of mind—they make friends here so quickly! The campground also offered children’s activities twice a week, with games they played together. There was also a ping-pong table, badminton equipment available, a trampoline, a swing, and a slide. It was all a lot of fun! For adults, there are also activities like yoga. The campground is very well maintained. The restrooms were always clean. We stayed with our folding trailer at Horizon Site 66, and I’d book this spot again in a heartbeat! For groceries, there’s a mini-market nearby, but the selection is really quite limited—at least for us... We made the trip to Eurospin, which was about a 10- to 15-minute drive. There’s also a restaurant at the campground. You can get takeout or eat there. Plus, the owners are always around at the campground. If you need anything, you can always talk to them. They’re friendly and helpful.

Last week, we enjoyed an 8-day stay in a beautiful safari tent with a stunning view. Mike and Joanna are incredibly hospitable and make sure you feel welcome from the very first moment. The restrooms are always clean, the pool is wonderful, and the food at the restaurant is excellent. The accommodations were also comfortable and fully equipped. Plus, there’s more than enough to do in the area: beautiful rivers, cozy restaurants, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.
